We started Semester 5 this week at @digiartcat. We are officially 2nd year students. Hard to believe a year has gone by! I’ve learned a great amount about the amazing @dorothydraperco We had to hand render a hotel lobby and furniture based on a historic icon. I continually choose her and have since purchased all her books. Love the big and boldness she gave as far back as 1925! You can buy her iconic pieces @kindelfurniture today! When it comes to design sometimes we are all too safe. Everyone knows cream and white are my 2 favourite colors! 😂. Dorothy - “I always put in one controversial item. Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms out there!! I couldn’t love 2 people anymore. Yes I vacation without them sometimes but I need the break. I raise the dog they wanted and the cats they had to have. And I drink a little because of them. And yes I take J on more holidays but it’s because Con wants dirt bikes and sleds instead. Do I have a favourite? Yup! J is my fav little girl in the world and Con will forever be my fav little man. It takes a village people. Thank you to all the moms and dads these 2 kids have. Raising children is not possible without friends and family!! Enjoy the day because tomorrow someone has to clean to toilets! 😂 Xoxoxoxo.
